The crew took off at 2349 13th Jul 1943 from Holme-on-Spalding Moor but crashed out of control almost immediately and burst into flames.

The crew scrambled clear and escaped injury. It is for this reason that this plane is NOT on the list of casualties originally reported, but I doubt the whole experience would have been nice, so I have placed them amongst the list.. the line below also gives me a reason for doing so!
