W/C Coventry was the son of The Hon. T.G.Coventry and Alice Coventry of Victoria, British Columbia. W/C
Coventry was 102 Squadron Commander.
F/L Hogg was Squadron Gunnery Leader.

Air Commodore Gus Walker went onto to be Air Chief Marshal SIR Augustus Walker, GCB, OBE, DSO, DFC, AFC, MA.
Gus Walker was the station commander at the time Joe was there. He was a nationally known boxer before the war and became a hero when he ran to a crashed bomber to drag out the crew and it blew up and he lost an arm.
