Crash of Halifax R9449 into W.1239 9 Sept 1942
Posted: Sat Oct 05, 2013 6:17 pmHalifax R9449 A-DY Crashed into Halifax W.1239 on 9 Sept 1942 at Pocklington, after returning from a raid on Frankfurt at 03.57. The port engine failed to throttle back, causing the crash. All the crew were uninjured. They were as Follows:
