Some photos taken of the original Grave Markers of the Crew of Halifax II JN 948. N. in Maubeuge Centre Cemetery
I'm not sure if they were taken just after the crash or just after the end of the War.
My Uncle was Sgt. D.B.Robertson AG.
The photo below shows my Uncle under training. He is in the centre just behind the chap shaving. The cap flashes show they were under training but prior to receiving they're Brevets. I'm not sure where it was taken but his postings were:
14 ITW, 1 EAGS, and 11 AGS. After this he was at 20 OTU and finally 1663 HCU before being posted to 102 Sqd on 3rd Dec 1943.
He flew with the same crew on 20 operations. The 20th being they're last when shot down on April 28th 1944
