The Whitley Boys

by G L "Larry" Donnelly.
An interesting and well written account of 4 Group bomber operations in the early years of the WW2 bombing offensive, with particular focus on the "old workhorse" the Armstrong Whitworth Whitley bomber. A good read for anyone interested in Whitley operations in '39 and '40.

For the memory of everyone who served with 102 Ceylon Squadron,
but mostly for the 1,027 in two World Wars who never came home.
