Wireless Operator Trainees.

My uncle had a couple of photos of trainee buddies that I would like to know information about - Chas (Charles?) Cormack and Davy Campbell. Does anybody have any info about these lads. The Commonwealth War Graves site didn't reveal any 'hits', so I presume they survived the war. They were trainee Wireless Operators. Any clues as to what happened to these men and where they might be now would be of great interest to me. To see thier photos have a look at 'Bob Leyland' on the memories page.
Here's hoping,
Bill.

Bill,
Try this site for Chas Cormack, looks like the same photo you put on Robert Leyland's site.

Thanks Simon. I posted this so long ago, and gave up thinking there would be a response. I have only just seen it, and I am stunned. This is the chap I was after! Big apologies for not responding sooner. Just sad I have missed the oportunity to meet the man.
Cheers Simon.

No probs Simon, job done. I am now in touch with his son Mike who lives in Poulton and he said my uncle Bob was his parents best man! Very annoyed with myself for not trying harder to find this guy earlier. He retired to Blackpool too! grrrrr
Thanks again
Bill.
